Although Violeta Gomez is better known as a singer-songwriter (or as a controversial photographer), this album features a bunch of instrumental low-fi pop tracks recorded on an old Roland SH-101 synth, with just some sparse vocal overdubs. And although she defines it as "a toy record", the subtitles reads "a journey to the center of desire". Of course, the latter is truer than the former since this album, as all Violeta's recent work, explores the relation between innocence and lust.

This is a toy record played on a Roland SH-101 synthesizer. No rhythm box or additional instruments were used. Analogically recorded and mixed at the artist's home in the sad autumn of 2004 on a Tascam 4-track tape recorder. Digital transfer and editing by Tina Gil and Anki Toner. Some tracks have small sound anomalies due to defficiencies in the recording and mixing process. The artist apologizes for this.
